Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She served this role from 2021-2022. As a member of Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015; and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki worked as an CNN political contributor between 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to the year 2006. Psaki returned in 2012 to the field of political communications, serving as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. [20] Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. 20 years ago, she was employed at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. She was named Communications Director in the White House and continued to do so until the end of the year in 2015.
